BENEFITS OF BEING A REGISTERED STATE SECTOR LEARNER

When your agency has registered you to take part in a Learning State workplace learning and assessment programme:

  • you can earn as you learn, so you don't need a student loan
  • you follow a structured programme that is tailored to you and your agency
  • you gain skills and knowledge you can use in your current and future jobs
  • your skills and knowledge are assessed fairly and consistently and lead to a nationally recognised qualification
  • you will become better prepared to serve the diverse groups in your community
  • you and your employer will be supported by Learning state every step of the way.

If you're aged 16 to 21, you can take part in workplace-assessed learning as a Modern Apprentice or you can choose from many other qualifications.
