WHICH QUALIFICATION DO I CHOOSE?

Learning State develops, registers, and supports national qualifications. Many of these qualifications sit within learning pathways, so you can make sure your career is always heading in the right direction. Choose from the wide array of qualifications, which are grouped into four broad categories. · State sector general qualifications - qualifications recognising the skills you have that are transferable across the State sector. · State sector workplace-specific qualifications - qualifications designed to meet the needs of specific State sector agencies. · State sector Māori qualifications - qualifications recognising skills relevant to working effectively with and for Māori in the State sector. · State and private sector general qualifications - qualifications relevant in both the State and private sectors. Are you aged 16 to 21?If you're aged 16 to 21 and just starting out on a State sector career or you want more out of your current State sector job, then perhaps a Modern Apprenticeship is for you. Are you delivering services to, or working closely with, Māori?If you're delivering services to, or working closely with, Māori then you need a unique set of skills and knowledge. Perhaps the National Diploma in Public Sector Māori is for you? Do you want to develop your leadership and management skills?If you're thinking of a career in management or want to develop your management and leadership skills, then consider getting on the 'leadership staircase' - a series of four qualifications to develop outstanding managers and leaders. |
