HOW DO I GET STARTED AS A REGISTERED LEARNER?

Resources for this document

You need a New Zealand Qualifications Authority Record of Learning number (also called a registration number) before you can begin structured workplace learning and assessment. And you need to talk to your manager.

What if I've already got a Record of Learning number?

If you've already got a Record of Learning number, you're all set to start your workplace learning, including a Modern Apprenticeship. Contact your manager to get started.

What if I don't know whether I've got a Record of Learning number?

Don't worry if you don't have a Record of Learning number (or don't know whether you have a number), it will be arranged for you as part of your workplace learning arrangements. Talk to your manager about this.
