WHAT SKILLS DO I NEED TO BECOME A MODERATOR?

To become an effective moderator you need: - to have effective communication skills
- to have extensive experience as an assessor
- to be able to make clear and consistent moderation judgements
- to be able to facilitate discussions about assessment
- to be open to learning new ways of assessing
- to understand your role in the moderator system
- to be able to use the moderation system to report amendments to Learning State in a timely manner
