WHAT SKILLS DO I NEED TO BECOME A MODERATOR?

To become an effective moderator you need:

· to have effective communication skills

· to have extensive experience as an assessor

· to be able to make clear and consistent moderation judgements

· to be able to facilitate discussions about assessment

· to be open to learning new ways of assessing

· to understand your role in the moderator system

· to be able to use the moderation system to report amendments to Learning State in a timely manner.
