If you have enthusiastic employees aged 16 to 21, they may be able to begin a Modern Apprenticeship. You'll have motivated young people working for you and towards a national qualification. And you'll be contributing to preparing tomorrow's workforce and future leaders.

A Modern Apprenticeship is a partnership between you and your employee. The Modern Apprentice works towards a national qualification at the same time as working for you. Learning State supports you both every step of the way.

How does Learning State support my agency?

When you take on a Modern Apprentice, Learning State supports you every step of the way to make sure the Modern Apprenticeship is successful.

Learning State will assign you and the apprentice a Learning State advisor who'll be there with you through the whole 2 to 3 years of the apprenticeship. The advisor makes sure the apprenticeship works for you and the apprentice, and manages the administration associated with the apprenticeship.

The advisor helps you to:

· sign up a Modern Apprentice who'll meet your needs

· develop a personal training plan for your Modern Apprentice

· identify suitable workplace assessors and help to train them

· develop workplace assessment guides

· review your Modern Apprentice's progress

· guide you and your Modern Apprentice through any difficulties.
