Code of conduct

A written document issued by a legitimate authority setting out minimum standards of integrity and conduct. Under the State Sector Act, the State Services Commissioner may issue a code or codes of conduct for the Public Service, most Crown entities and certain other agencies in the State sector. The New Zealand Public Service Code of Conduct is published at www.ssc.govt.nz/coc
