The Skills Organisation provides professional development solutions to organisations in the New Zealand central and local government such as public service departments, city and regional councils, State-owned enterprises, Crown entities and Offices of Parliament.

Our clients are appointed a designated learning and development consultant to support and advise employers on current and relevant professional development opportunities, so their employees can develop the skills they require to deliver excellent and cost-effective public services to the New Zealand public.

We work with employers to determine their employees' skill shortages and training needs, based on the organisation's business objectives and employees' career goals. We then develop and implement learning programmes to address those needs.

Programmes can be provided on an ad hoc basis. For larger organisations with on-going, annual training requirements, we offer cost-effective membership packages based on the number of full-time staff an organisation employs.
